Renaming Records and Transactions

Replace the standard label of a record with wording your business already uses. The new label appears on menus, forms, lists, search results and printed documents. Field IDs, saved searches and scripts are unaffected.

Before you rename

Leave a field blank to keep the standard label. Renaming takes effect for all users at the next login, and help content continues to use the standard names.
